From here I want congratulate Albert Adrià and Paco Mendez for having achieved a Michelin star for his restaurant Hoja Santa.It is a recognition of the great work that I witnessed during my collaboration in the decoration of the taqueria and my subsequent visits to the restaurant.
My work for the NiñoViejo taqueria also included the design of the images to the doors of the toilets that are shared by both restaurants. I made a free interpretation of the images of popular Mexican lottery, including further detail of the genius Albert: image numbers correspond to a very special day for the family Adrià.
It is said that in granting its stars in the Michelin guide all the details were considered, that includes the toilets… maybe the inspector liked my designs and it was my bit for that well deserved star.
